Zhenis Nurgaliyev elected Senator of Kazakh Parliament from Kostanay region instead of retired one

ASTANA. April 28. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Central Election Commission informed of election of a deputy of the Kazakh Senate from Kostanay oblast instead of retired senator.

The elections took place on April 23, 2010. 2 candidates ran for this post. 287 out of 300 electors took part in voting. The results of elections are as following:

21 people voted for Askar Muratov, and 265 - for Zhenis Nurgaliyev.

Zhenis Nurgaliyev, born in 1962, Kazakh, Deputy Governor of Kostanay region, was elected Senator of the Kazakh Parliament.
