nabay Kudaybergenuly (1865-1916)  - bi and orator. He was born in Kyrgyzsay village of Zharkent Uezd in Zhetysus region, (now Uigur municipality in Almaty region).

He graduated from Zharkent madrasah. He knew Arabic, Russian, Chinese and Mongol languages. He participated in construction of Zharkent madrasah. In 1893 he opened Russian-Kazakh school. Zhambul and Toktagul were his friends. Together with representatives of Zhetysu he took part in the event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of rule of Romanov dynasty in St. Petersburg.

In 1916 he took an active part in the national-liberation movement of Zhetysu municipality. Having weaponed his stem konyrborikty he joined the Karkary uprising. After suppression of the uprising he was put into Karakol prison (Kyrgyzstan). As his team-mates he was shot down.

His name was given to the Kazakh secondary school and Central Street of Shonzhy municipality center of Almaty region.
