Working group of Sino-Kazakh Cross-Border River Utilization and Protection Commission met in Beijing

ASTANA. July 9. KAZINFORM The 9th meeting of the expert working group of the Sino-Kazakh Cross-Border River Utilization and Protection Commission took place on July 3-9 in Beijing, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.

The parties debated topical issues of joint cross-border water management, including realization of the plan of cross-border rivers water apportioning engineering works guidelines, assessment of water resources of the basins of the Irtysh, Ili and Emel rivers, construction of a joint hydroelectric complex on the Khorgos River, etc.
