Windy weather expected in Kazakhstan on Saturday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Saturday, March 14, unstable weather will remain in the northern and eastern parts of Kazakhstan.

According to Kazhydromet in North Kazakhstan, Karaganda regions wind of15-20 mps, snowstorm, fog, and black ice are expected. Strong winds of 15-20 mps, snowstorm, and black ice will hit Pavlodar region. Wind will strengthen to 15-20 mps in Kostanay, Akmola regions of the country. Windy weather is also forecasted for Zhalanashkol area of Almaty region. Fog will blanket Kyzylorda, Atyrau, South Kazakhstan, Mangystau, West Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions. Strong winds of 15-20 mps with a snowstorm are expected in East Kazakhstan region. On March 13-16 on Syrdarya River in Almaty region, on some rivers of East and West Kazakhstan regions weakening and destruction of ice is expected to continue. South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl and Almaty regions lowland rivers level is expected to be increased.
