We will develop 20 population centers around Astana, Head of State
In Kosshy population centre Nursultan Nazarbayev surveyed the Lesnaya Polyana (A clearing in the woods) residential community. At the close of 2011 about 1,100 of shared construction participants received their apartments there. Nursultan Nazarbayev met with the apartment dwellers.
They expressed gratitude to President Nursultan Nazarbayev for the Government support and attention paid to the problems of the shared construction participants.
"We will develop 20 population centers around Astana. All around id possible is due to the results that Kazakhstan has achieved for the 20 years of its independence," the Head of State said.
Besides, the President visited two 36-apartment houses in Altyn Dala micro-district. The republican budget funded their construction.
Governor of the Akmola region Kairat Kozhamzharov reported to the President on the implementation of the package plan on the development of population centres adjacent to Astana for 2011-2014. The plan was elaborated pursuant to the President's instruction.
Agriculture Minister Asylzhan Mamytbekov informed the President of the realization of the food belt program to provide Astana with the farm products.
Nursultan Nazarbayev visited the agricultural exhibition and got familiarized with the regional investment projects of the agro0industrial complex, farm products of the region.
