We are interested in expanding political and economic relations with Islamabad - Kazakh President

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - We are interested in expanding political and economic relations with Islamabad, said the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during the ceremony of presenting credentials of newly appointed Ambassadors to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

"Kazakhstan considers Pakistan as an important and promising partner in Southeast Asia. We are interested in expanding political and economic relations with Islamabad. Kazakhstan produces large quantities of grain and other agricultural products, therefore, Pakistan can consider the issue of supplying industrial goods to our country," said the President. The President emphasized that Kazakhstan highly appreciates Pakistan's active participation in the CICA, Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, and Astana Economic Forum.
