USD 1,5 bln invested into Kazakhstan's building industry over 5 years, Rau

ASTANA. KAZINFORM "For the first five years of the advanced industrial and innovation development program realization some USD 1,5 bln was invested into Kazakhstan's building industry," Vice Minister of Investments and Development Albert Rau said.

"USD 1,5 bln was channeled into 200 projects at large," he noted addressing the 1st Eurasian Construction Industry Congress in Astana. According to him, building industry remains a priority development direction. "USD 20 bln was forwarded in various sectors according to the first five-year plan of the program. The next five-year plan covers 14 sectors. But we need now new generation green technologies," he stressed.
