URGENT: Blast in Atyrau «Privokzalny» district

ASTANA. May 3. KAZINFORM – In the Atyrau "Privokzalny" microregion in the yard of one of the apartment buildings there was an explosion.

The blast took place 1.5 meters away from the entrance hall of the apartment building #39 in Abdrakhmanov Street.

Emergency Department officers, the police, and the ambulance arrived at the spot of the blast. Sewage collector cover and pieces of asphalt were drawn by a flap. Workers are deepening the hole trying to find out the cause of the blast. Fractured oxygen bottle was found in 1.5 meters depth. By all apperiances it was left there by the contsructors in 2011. The found oxygen bottle is a probable cause of the blast.
