URGENT: 178 infants died since the beginning of 2012 in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. May 24. KAZINFORM "2 maternal and 178 infant deaths have been registered in Almaty region since the beginning of the year," deputy head of the regional healthcare department Saule Kusmoldanova told.

According to her, to prevent such cases it is crucial to raise awareness of expectant mothers with abnormalities that frequently cause maternal and infant deaths.
