University of Birmingham to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. March 28. KAZINFORM Regarded as a world-class, research-led institution, Birmingham was ranked 12th overall in the UK in the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) and achieved excellent ratings for teaching quality in the UK Government Quality Assurance Assessments. The University is part of the Russell Group of Universities and is an approved study destination for students applying for the Bolashak Scholarship.

Birmingham is a truly global university with over 4,000 international students from nearly 150 different countries. It offers a huge diversity of study opportunities at all levels and in all major disciplines including Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical Science, Law and Social Science.

Yvonne Haines, International Officer from the University of Birmingham, will be visiting Kazakhstan in April. Yvonne will be accompanied by Mr Robbie Roberts, representing the Schools of Government and Society, Education, Social Policy and Business.

Presentations by Yvonne and Robbie on "Opportunities at the University of Birmingham'" on April 4th in Astana and April 6th in Almaty invites interested in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK - prospective students, their parents, teachers, schools and university advisors. This is an exciting opportunity to learn more about studying at one of the world's top universities!
