UAE media interested both in Kazakhstan's economic, political events and its Olympic triumphs

ABU DHABI. August 16. KAZINFORM A press conference with participation of Kazakh Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Askar Mussinov took place in Abu Dhabi to commemorate the forthcoming 20th anniversary since establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Kazakhstan.

A photo exhibition featuring the history of the development of Kazakh-UAE relations opened its doors at the Al Raha Beach Hotel. The works narrated the dynamics of development and strengthening of positive political ties between the countries.

Reps of WAM national news agency, Al Fajr, Al Khaleej, Al Hayat print media and Sultan bin Zayed's Cultural and Media Centre attended the press conference.

The Kazakh ambassador focused on various aspects of political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two states. Besides, he informed of the summit of foreign ministers of CICA member countries to be held this September in Astana. He also told about the results of the 4^th Congress of World and Traditional Religions.

In turn, reps of the UAE mass media expressed interest in political events taking place in Kazakhstan, realization of bilateral projects, namely, construction of Abu Dhabi Plaza in Astana, Mubdala Development Company's participation in the development of Kazakhstani shelf of the Caspian Sea and the work of Al Hilal Bank in our country. Besides, they highly appreciated performance of Kazakhstan's national team at the Olympic Games in London which evidences positive processes in Kazakhstan's sport.
