Two Kazakhmys workers die in one day at work

KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - Two workers of Kazakhmys Corporation accidentally died in one day at work, the company's press service reports.

"Both accidents occurred on Thursday, February 26. A 21-year-old miner passed away while working at Shatyrkul mine. A 34-year-old electric and gas welder sustained severe injuries and died while working at a railway station of KM Tranco LLP," the company's statement reads. A special commission is set to investigate the accidents. Kazakhmys Corporation expressed its condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.
