Turkish MPs highly estimated Kazakh President's Address

ISTANBUL. April 6. KAZINFORM The Embassy of Turkey held a round-table conference devoted to the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey and the main provisions of the Kazakh President N. Nazarbayev's state-of-the-nation address "Social Economic Modernization is the Main Vector of Kazakhstan's Development."

Members of Kazakhstan - Turkey parliamentary friendship group and the head of this organization Haluk Ipek participated in the conference.

Kazakh Ambassador Zhanseit Tuymebayev told about the progress of the country in social economic sphere, goals and tasks of the Head of State, which he outlined in the annual Address. Besides he emphasized the high level of bilateral relations, intensity of top-level contacts. Participants of the 'round table' reviewed foreign policy initiatives of the Kazakh President, in particular Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states (CCTS), Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking states (TURKPA), Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OSCE, OIC, etc.

Turkish MPs highly estimated the content of the Kazakh President's Address, particularly the social dimension. They mentioned well realized social economic programs and strategies, which allow the Kazakh people to make more achievements.

"The Kazakh President's Address defines exactly the strategic priorities of the new stage of social economic modernization of Kazakh society, a set of measures on further state strengthening, security and social welfare of the fraternal republic," Chairman of the Kazakhstan - Turkey parliamentary friendship group Haluk Ipek concluded.
