Turkey actively supports foreign policy initiatives of Kazakhstan implemented under the leadership of Nursultan Nazarbayev - TR Minister for EU Affairs

ASTANA. January 22. KAZINFORM - In Ankara the Ambassador to Turkey Zhanseit Tuymebayev ahs met with the newly appointed Minister for European Union Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, this has been reported in the press release of Kazakhstan's Embassy in the Republic of Turkey.

Zh.Tuymebaev told M. Çavuşoğlu about the main achievements of Kazakhstan's independence, the main provisions of "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy and the Strategic Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2020. Kazakh Ambassador also informed on the Kazakhstani projects «Atom» and «G-Global».

Minister for EU Affairs Çavuşoğlu, praising the achievements of Kazakhstan, has noted the dynamic development of the Kazakh-Turkish relations. He also added that, as the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, he had close contacts with the Kazakh authorities providing their full support in promoting the interests of Kazakhstan in the interaction of RK in the EU.

"Turkey actively supports Kazakhstan's foreign policy initiatives implemented under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev who is the author of a multi-vector foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan including the well-known international initiatives that have received further recognition and support from the international community", summed up the Turkish Minister. During the round table there has been emphasized the significant progress in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas of bilateral partnership.

The two sides expressed their willingness to support the initiatives of both states in relations with the European countries.
