LONDON. October 26. KAZINFORM About 40 people have been injured, three fatally, after a fuel tanker exploded in northern Afghanistan, officials say.

An official in the Parwan province said a small blast made a hole in the tanker, according to the AFP news agency.

When crowds gathered around the vehicle to collect fuel, a bigger explosion took place, the official added, BBC News reports.
