The 1st President's Day unites Kazakhstanis around values of unity, Speaker

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Addressing the international conference "President. Parliament. Integration", initiated by the Majilis on the eve of the 1st President's Day, Majilis Speaker Kabibulla Dzhakupov underlined historic significance of this state holiday for all Kazakhstanis.

"This very day 23 years ago Kazakhstanis for the first time exercised their sovereign right to be a real source of power, to form power and determine its policy. It is the day of consolidation of the society around the values of unity, development, economic, political and social modernization," he added. "Since gaining its independence Kazakhstan has realized a successful model of a strong open model called as the Kazakhstan's way. He pointed out establishment of sustainable financial, banking and tax systems, support of a favorable investment climate, industrial and innovation development of priority industries, a large-scale state support of entrepreneurship and private investments, cardinal reforms in all key spheres are the main components of the said model. He also highlighted timeliness of the Nurly Zhol new economic policy of the President of Kazakhstan.
