Strategic projects to produce aggregate effects no less than 7% of GDP by 2020, Industry Minister

ASTANA. July 3. KAZINFORM "The launch of strategic projects will produce aggregate effects no less than 7% of GDP by 2020," Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev told the Astana Industrial Forum.

According to him, these are the large industrial infrastructure projects. There are 39 projects in the Industrialization Map so far. There is also a list of 20 promising projects. Thus, the Government will keep an eye on all 59 largest projects in 3-5 years to come," the Minister explained.

"The projects in the sphere of chemistry, tourism, transport and engineering  are worth USD 80 bln. it's estimated that by 2020 all these projects will produce aggregate effects no less than 7% of GDP," he resumed.
