Steppe ablaze in E Kazakhstan

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM Dried grass caught a fire in Zaisan district despite a drop in air temperature, snow and rain, the East Kazakhstan emergency situations department reports.

High wind enabled the fire to spread over 20 ha of steppe. Fire extinguishers urge to observe fire safety rules during fire season and call 101 or 112 if a fire occurs.
