State language on the rise in Pavlodar region

PAVLODAR. August 1. KAZINFORM Checkup of the outgoing mail at government bodies in all districts of Pavlodar region has proved that all records are kept in the state language, Head of the Department for languages development Kabzhan Edilbai told mass media during a Wednesday meeting .

Training workshops for records managers and translators were held in Ekibastuz and Bayanaul district in order to top up their qualifications.

There are 47 nursery schools and 155 secondary schools with Kazakh language of instruction in the region.

The number of those willing to study the state language has dramatically increased - nearly 7 thousand results of the region completed language courses this year.
