Semey Intellectual School holds entrance exams

SEMEY. July 17. KAZINFORM /Lina Slavina/ Entrance examinations for the Intellectual School of the First President students have been started in Semey.

Future Intellectual School students will be examined during 12 days. Over 1 000 applications for school have been received at present.

 

This year 120 first-graders filed an application for the School of the First President in Semey. The candidates must pass examinations in 4 subjects: Kazakh and English languages, World Studies and Mathematics. Each discipline has 10 questions whereas 60 minutes are given for answers.

 The teachers will choose the most talented students and form 4 classes with Kazakh and Russian tuition languages. Each class will count 18 children.

 According to the city education department the Intellectual school aimed at 1 200 places but the first academic year the school will adopt only 900 students.

 Totally 20 intellectual schools will be opened all over the country graduates of which will continue their study under Bolashak program.
