SCO gained great authority in the int'l arena, Tazhin

ASTANA. April 29. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ "Since its foundation the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has gained strong authority in the international arena and has become a vital factor for enhancing security in the region," Presidential Aide - Secretary of Security Council of Kazakhstan Marat Tazhin said at the press conference following the VI meeting of secretaries of SCO security councils.

"We have shared views on security issues in the SCO area and neighboring regions. The participants confirmed their intention to continue joint countering of terrorism, separatism, extremism and other forms of transnational crimes. All the countries spoke for deepening of cooperation, coordination of all the efforts."
