SCO FM Council meeting opens in Beijing

BEIJING. May 11. KAZINFORM The meeting of the SCO Foreign Ministers' Council has begun in Beijing.

"Thanks to the efforts of all parties we have achieved progress in security, energy and economics," Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi said opening the meeting.

The meeting focuses on international and regional issues, also issues concerning further development of the Organization, preparations for the forthcoming SCO Summit. Besides, the ministers plan to adopt draft Cooperation Program to fight three evils for 2013-2015.
