Samruk-Kazyna CEO confirms JSC «KEGOC» to join People's IPO Program

ASTANA. October 3. KAZINFORM CEO of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund Umirzak Shukeyev announced JSC "KEGOC" will be taken public by yearend.

He told halyk-ipo.kz. web portal the company will be taken public within the People's IPO Program till the end of this year, as it has been planned.

"The plans we've made as regards KEGOC joining the People's IPO Program are still valid," Mr. Shukeyev confirmed.

According to the Samruk-Kazyna CEO, the company's assets are being appraised at the moment.

As reported earlier, the People's IPO Program was launched in Kazakhstan in late 2012. KazTransOil was the first company to go public within the program. Placement of shares of such companies as KEGOC, KazTransGas, Samruk-Energy, KazakhstanTemirZholy, Kaztomprom, to name a few, is expected during 2013-2015.
