Record number of people watched military parade in Astana live

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The most spectacular military parade dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day and to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Astana.

The parade set several records of Kazakhstan. About 3 million people from all over the world watched the parade live.

The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan launched a live broadcast of the parade on its website. Besides, the official websites of the embassies and consulates of Kazakhstan in the USA, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia, Hong Kong and Belarus broadcast the parade.

At the moment of the beginning of the parade, a record number of people watching it was registered - more than 8 thousand.

As a result people from Russia, USA, China, India, Indonesia, Turkey, North Korea, Ukraine, Netherlands and other countries watched the parade in Astana, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan informed.

The residents of all the regions and Astana and Almaty cities had an opportunity to watch the event live on the LED-screens installed around the country.

Besides, national TV channels such as "Khabar", "Kazakhstan", "24.KZ" and "Mir" broadcast the event.
