Priceless heritage of akyn will be eternal as Kazakhstan's independence, Kazakh President's greeting

RAGANDA. September 13. KAZIFNFORM /Olga Petrenko/ "Kassym Amanzholov's poetry was a vivid phenomenon in the national literature of the 20th century," President of Kazakhstan believes. "The entire generation was raised and grown on his works, inflaming in the hearts the love for the motherland," Kazakhstanskaya Pravda newspaper cites the President's greetings addressed to the participants of celebratory activities dated to the 100th anniversary of the poet.

Culture Minister Muhktar Kul-Muhammed read the President's address at the commemorative events at home of the poet in Karkaraly, Karaganda region.

"It is symbolic that the poet's jubilee coincides with the 20^th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. Priceless heritage of akyn will be eternal as Kazakhstan's independence and every generation will discover a treasure oh his words," the message reads.
