President urges to improve conditions for foreign investors in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has instructed to improve conditions for foreign investors in the country.

He gave the instruction at a session on further development of the Kazakh capital at the Astana Opera on Friday. "We have created the Investors Service Center and a special economic zone to this end. But, those efforts have, so far at least, been insufficient. Many investors want to invest, but face a lot of bureaucratic obstacles," the President stressed. Nursultan Nazarbayev instructed the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies together with the Astana City Administration to step up the work on attraction of foreign investments, especially in the light of the forthcoming EXPO-2017 event.
