President's Address to resolve gender issues, view

ALMATY. KAZINFORM "At the time when the world faces new challenges and threats the President of Kazakhstan is concerned about fulfilling social obligations," professor at the Al Farabi KazNU Laila Akhmetova said.

"Allocation of KZT 100 bln for small and medium business concessional lending bespeaks for concern for people, the majority of Kazakhstanis engaged in this economic sector. There are lots of businesswomen. Tourism industry was outlined as one of the promising development directions. As is known, mostly women are traditionally engaged in this sector. It demonstrates that the Government settles gender problems," she said commenting on the Kazakh President's Address delivered at the enlarged meeting of the Nur Otan Political Council in Astana.

"As the President stressed the key is to preserve the country's unity. I am proud of my Kazakhstan for its tolerance, stability and consent, for the People's Assembly founded by the President. There are no such alliances in the world and its success is our success in every field," she added.
