President of Kazakhstan will meet with Foreign Minister of Russia

ASTANA. September 9. KAZINFORM - Sergey Lavrov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, will arrive in Kazakhstan for the official visit on September 11-12, this has been reported at the briefing by the official representative of the Central Communications Service (CCS) Altai Abibullayev.

President of Kazakhstan will meet with the Foreign Minister of Russia during his visit to Astana.

"The talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia will focus on a wide range of issues of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation in political, economic, trade, cultural and humanitarian areas", said Abibullayev.

According to the CCS's report, the parties intend to concentrate on the interaction within the framework of inter-regional and cross-border collaboration in energy and aerospace sectors as well as partnership within the CIS, the EurAsEC, the CU, the Common Economic Space, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-building Measures in Asia and the UN.
