President Nazarbayev attended Astana Day state reception

ASTANA. July 7. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev took part the day before in the state reception devoted to the Astana Day, the President's press service said.

The President thanked all those who made great contribution to the foundation and development of the new capital of Kazakhstan, Astana.

"We all are witnesses of large-scale transformations of the past years. We complete construction of the key large facilities of Astana city. The best educational establishments and healthcare centers, up-to-date sports complexes are located in Astana. Today I have unveiled the country's largest Khazret Sultan Mosque. The Opera and Ballet Theater and the National Museum construction works will be completed soon. Astana is developing rapidly and these processes will further advance," the President said.

Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated all Kazakhstanis on the Capital Day and wished them wellbeing and prosperity.
