President backs idea of naming Ust-Kamenogorsk track and field center after Olga Rypakova

ASTANA. August 17. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev supports the idea of ​​naming a new track and field center in Ust-Kamenogorsk after Olympic champion Olga Rypakova. The Head of State said it in Astana at the ceremony of honoring the winners of the 2012 Olympics.

"Ust-Kamenogorsk is planning to name new track and field center after Olga Rypakova. I support this decision. Sports schools and stadiums of the country that were built in recent years must be named after our Olympians," the President said.
