People's unity only to stand against modern threats, view

According to him, the modern world poses various natural, man-made and economic disasters. The main thing to help withstand those challenges is the unity and solidarity of the people. Kazakhstanis showed this very quality. It is an object lesson of tolerance, unity, respect for culture and traditions of all the nations living in Kazakhstan," the professor noted.

"This holiday is unique and is one the main in fact. The rallies demonstrated objectification of the holiday and filled it with a new meaning. The People's Unity Day illustrated once again that peace, labor and unity are the eternal values the progressive mankind has always sought for."
