Pakistan is one of the key Kazakhstan's partners in South Asia, Majilis Speaker

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Kazakh Majilis Speaker Kabibulla Dzhakupov received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Pakistan to Kazakhstan Shaukat Ali Mukadam, Majilis' press service said.

Highlighting that Pakistan is one of the key Kazakhstan's partners in South Asia, the speaker noted the importance of the development of bilateral relations in all spheres of cooperation. According to him, Pakistan's support for the most important initiatives of Kazakhstan, including holding of EXPO 2017 in Astana and the country's striving to join the nonpermanent members of the UN Security Council for 2017-2018 is the evidence of fruitful bilateral cooperation. He also expressed confidence that Kazakhstan will make a great contribution to the Council work. In his turn, the ambassador noted that Pakistan is proud of the level of relations with Kazakhstan that is an important country in Central Asia.
