One more candidate applies for participation in presidential race

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Early presidential elections, first initiated by the Council of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan, are scheduled for April 26.

The list of nominees so far includes self-nominated candidates who have never held key positions and whose names would not be known to the general public. Today Kanat Eszhanov has applied to participate in the presidential election.

In 2011 Kanat Eszhanov put forward his candidacy for presidential elections. At that time he failed the state language proficiency test.

Thus, the number of applicants to participate in the election has reached 25.
