Nursultan Nazarbayev: 'We will conquer even greater heights'

ASTANA. August 17. KAZINFORM I am confident that in the future we will conquer even greater heights," Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a celebratory ceremony honoring the winners of the Olympic Games in London.

"Our sons and daughters, having received the blessing of the people for the long journey and important competitions, met our expectations. Kazakh athletes have achieved results never seen before in the country's history. The flag of Kazakhstan was raised in London seven times. The anthem of our country was heard under the sky of London seven times," said Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The President stressed that Kazakhstan's athletes since the beginning until the last days of the Olympics brought medals for our country. "Attention of the fans, who did not take their eyes off the TV screens, inspired our Olympians."

Nazarbayev shook hands and congratulated each winner of the Olympic Games in London.
