Nursultan Nazarbayev received Kazakh Interior Minister

ASTANA. February 21. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Kalmukhanbet Kassymov, the President's press service reports.

The Minister reported to the President on the country's criminal situation, efforts aimed at strengthening crime control and public security, protection of civil rights, intensification of public order protection, extremism, organized crime, drug industry and irregular migration counteraction measures.

The Minister reported also on the progress of realization of the tasks the President set in his State-of-the-Nation Address.

Following the results of the meeting Nursultan Nazarbayev encharged the Minister with tasks.
