Nursultan Nazarbayev, Jose Manuel Barroso had talks on the sidelines of the Kiev Summit

KIEV. April 19. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso on the sidelines of the Kiev Summit, the Presidential press service informs.

During the meeting Jose Manuel Barroso congratulated Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev on his landslide victory in the presidential elections. He noted that Kazakhstan is the EC strategic partner in Central Asia and underlined timeliness of embarking on a new stage of strategic partnership between the EC and Kazakhstan.
