Nursultan Nazarbayev and Jacques Attali had talks in Paris

 ASTANA-PARIS. November 21. KAZINFORM Today as part of his working visit to France, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with well-known political figure of France Jacques Attali, the Kazakh President's press service said.

In a meeting the parties noted the high level of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and France, possible ways for further cooperation in financial and investment, trade and industrial and other spheres of cooperation. Besides, debated were issues of political and economic development of the Eurasian Union countries in the light of the current international situation, problems and prospects for negotiation of negative trends in the world economy.

Jacques Attali is a professor, writer, Honorary Member of the Council of State, Special Adviser to the President of the Republic from 1981 to 1991, founder and first President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London from 1991 to 1993.
