Nurlan Sydykov reelected as chairman of Zhas Otan

Nurlan Sydykov has been serving as the chairman since 2012. The 3rd Congress of the Zhas Otan party (Young wing) was held in Astana on Thursday, April 9. Besides, Olympic champion Ilya Ilyin and chess player Dinara Sadvakassova as well as other prominent young citizens of Kazakhstan were elected to the Central Council of the party. More than 2,000 delegates, including leaders of youth organizations, creative youth, young researchers, athletes, rural youth and members of the party, attended the event.
