Number of COVID-19 recoveries tops 1,900 in Kazakhstan in 24h

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – 1,984 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan in the past day, Kazinform has learnt from coronavirus2020.kz.

The highest number of COVID-19 recoveries was posted in Almaty city – 372. Ranked second is East Kazakhstan region with 255 recoveries from the coronavirus infection. West Kazakhstan region has the third highest number of COVID-19 recoveries – 213.

The Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, Karaganda and North Kazakhstan regions added 200, 164 and 125 COVID-19 recoveries, accordingly.

115 patients made full recoveries in Aktobe region, 112 – in Kostanay region, 107 – in Akmola region, 102 – in Pavlodar region, 92 – in Almaty region, 43 – in Shymkent city, 33 – in Kyzylorda region, 24 – in Mangistau region, 12 – in Atyrau region, 11 – in Zhambyl region, and 4 – in Turkestan region.

Nationwide, 866,242 people have recovered from the novel coronavirus in Kazakhstan since the onset of the pandemic.
