"Zhas tulpar" cultural organization of the Kazakh youth who studied at Moscow-based universities was established on November 7, 1963. It was founded by Murat Auezov, Altay Kadyrzhanov and Bolatkhan Taizhanov.

On November 7 in 2000, Presidents of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Emomali Rahmon and Askar Akayev signed the international agreement with Aga Khan IV on the creation of the University of Central Asia with the main campus in Khorog, Tajikistan as well as branches in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Khorog was chosen because it is located on the crossroads of ancient routes that used to connect the cities of Central Asia with the Middle East, China and India.

On November 7, 2005, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the decree "On jubilee medal on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan". Only those who greatly contribute to the development of Kazakhstani parliamentary system are decorated with the medal.

A bridge on the Kaztalovo-Zhanibek highway in West Kazakhstan region was opened the same day. Constructed in accordance with the regional program of road construction, the bridge cost totaled KZT 264 million.

People's Artist of Kazakhstan Zhaniya Aubakirova was decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit by Poland for popularization of the Polish culture on November 7, 2011. While touring Poland, Ms Aubakirova stunned local public with her performance of popular Polish musical pieces. The Cross of Merit was established to recognize services to the state.

On November 7, 2014, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the constitutional law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On court system and status of judges in the Republic of Kazakhstan" aimed at further improvement of national court system.

A bust to the Hero of the Soviet Union, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, was unveiled in Almaty city on November 7 in 2015. It was installed at the Republican military boarding school named after Momyshuly.

Estonia and the Kingdom of Bhutan joined the Regional Hub of Civil Service in Astana on November 7, 2016. The hub includes American, CIS, Caucasus and ASEAN countries as well as five international organizations. Cooperation with the Astana hub involves participation in joint initiatives and events on knowledge exchange, promotion of world's best practices and development of expert network in the sphere of civil service.

On this day in 2016, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Japan's Emperor Akihito within the framework of his official visit to Tokyo. During the meeting, President Nazarbayev lauded close cooperation between the two countries in various spheres and emphasized regular participation of the Japanese side in the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Astana as well as partnership in ensuring international security, including nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation.
