Children's Fund Baldyrgan, a branch of the Bobek International Foundation, opened its doors in Uralsk on November 14, 1995.

On November 14, 1999, Khabar TV Channel launched Khabar News Weekly Review in English.

Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the unveiling ceremony of the new building of the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Astana on November 14, 2006. The new premise of the U.S. Embassy in Astana is situated not far from the Akorda presidential residence.

On this day in 2008, Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas and Azerbaijan's SOCAR inked the agreement on the creation of the Kazakhstan Caspian Oil Transportation System (KCTS).

The Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), an international movement that unites millions of young people and inspires new business ideas, was held in Kazakhstan for the first time on November 14, 2011. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev was named the Person of the Year in the nomination State Policy by a Russian institute on November 14, 2012. The Kazakh leader was awarded for his contribution to the creation of the EurAsEC and the Customs Union. The national award Person of the Year was instituted by the Russian Biographic Institute in 1993. It is designed to laud achievements in areas of strategic importance such as science, culture, state administration, socially responsible business, charity and enlightenment.

The same day the Senate, the upper chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, announced that it is joining Twitter. Through the networking service, the chamber informs its followers of the latest news and its day-to-day functioning in Kazakh and Russian.

On this day, Kazakhstan was elected to the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the first time at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly in New York. 183 countries voted for Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan's election to the UNHRC is a merited recognition of the country and its achievements in the international arena.

On November 14, 2013, Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the Decree on the creation of the Agency for protection of consumer rights. The agency's goal is to control and monitor observance of consumers' rights in the country.

A bridge over the Ob River linking the villages of Koktau and Koktobe was put into service in Khormtau district of Aktobe region on this day in 2013. The cost of the project totaled KZT 419 million.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev opened a new military community of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana on November 14, 2014. The President also handed over the colors of the military unit to the National Guard brigade commander colonel Marat Kanagatov.

The same day Kazakh Senate Speaker Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel Eliyahu Tasman. Speaker Tokayev expressed satisfaction with the development of Kazakh-Israeli bilateral relations and briefed Ambassador Tasman on the preparations for the upcoming V Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions.

On November 14, 2015, a Tech Garden Incubator was launched as part of the Innovative Technologies Park autonomous cluster fund in Almaty city to support young innovators. The mission of the project is to create favorable eco-system - an innovative cluster - to shape up a pool of startup projects that can potentially turn into a high-tech company and become global suppliers.

On November 14, 2016, the second session of the Astana Club with the participation of Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev kicked off in the Kazakh capital. The event brought together over 50 experts, politicians, public figures and researchers from 21 countries.

The same day, Merkhat Zhylkybayev, 13, and Mariya Zatvarnitskaya, 12, claimed the grand prize of the 1st National Children's Singing Competition Bala Dauysy. The winners also won a trip to Disneyland in Singapore.
