New investment projects to boost economy

UST KAMENOGORSK. KAZINFORM "As preliminary forecasts indicate, the socioeconomic development of Ust Kamenogorsk town for the first quarter of 2014 received good rating. Its industrial output reached KZT 167 bln.

The volume of sales is expected to stand at KZT 55 bln with growth of 9%. Four new projects are likely to fuel the further economic growth of the town," mayor Temirbek Kassymzhanov told at the meeting with participation of region governor Berdybek Saparbayev in Ust Kamenogorsk. The advanced industrial and innovation development program is of great importance for Ust Kamenogorsk. Four new investment projects, namely, construction of a woodworking plant, laying of an electric power supply track for winter sports, reconstruction of Kazzink shop, and construction of a greenhouse complex will benefit the town. The projects worth KZT 10,5 bln were approved. 19 projects worth KZT 247 bln are being successfully realized under this program so far. 139 projects to the amount of KZT 35 bln are realized within the 2020 Business Roadmap. 24 projects were already put on stream, 3 are under consideration. As stated there, Ust Kamenogorsk observes steady development enjoying upward growth tendencies.
