Necessary to establish a world energy organization, Nursultan Nazarbayev

KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "It is crucial to set up a world energy organization to coordinate development and allocation of all the world's energy resources and scientific research," Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the plenary session of the 15th St Petersburg Economic Forum.

"The world is facing today the new challenges of the global energy security. The developed countries with the population of above one billion people consume twice more energy resources than the rest of the world," the President noted.

"In future the fight for raw material resources will strengthen that may lead to the new aggravation of the situation in the world."
