Nazarbayev says Kazakhstan chose nuclear-free history of country and world

TANA. October 12. KAZINFORM /Askar BImendin/ "Kazakh people decided on the nuclear-free history of the country and the whole world," Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said addressing the international conference "For a Nuclear Weapons Free World" in Astana.

"For Kazakh people it was then a historic act of understanding of their supreme sovereignty, power, wisdom and confidence in future. We not only freed the world from wide-spread nuclear evil but also rose above the global threat choosing the nuclear-free history of our country and the whole world," the Head of State noted.
