Nazarbayev ratifies agr't with UK on cargo transit via Kazakhstan to Afghanistan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev ratified an agreement with Great Britain on the transit of cargo via Kazakhstan for rehabilitation of Afghanistan, the Akorda press service said.

The Head of State signed the Law of Kazakhstan "On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the transit of special cargo through the territory of Kazakhstan in connection with participation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in international efforts to stabilize and restore the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
