Nazarbayev invites Estonian companies to cooperate with Kazakh business

ASTANA. September 6. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip on Thursday (September 6), the President's press service reports.

During the meeting Nursultan Nazarbayev stressed Kazakhstan and Estonia were to celebrate 20 years of diplomatic relations this year and reiterated both countries' interest in mutually profitable and dynamic cooperation.

The last year's economic growth in both countries exceeded 7 per cent, according to the Head of State. President Nazarbayev invited Estonian companies to cooperate with Kazakhstani business.

Andrus Ansip, in his turn, thanked Nursultan Nazarbayev for cordial reception and underlined the importance of developing the bilateral cooperation. Estonian PM also noted the prospects of activating the bilateral relations in various sectors of economy.

There are 54 registered enterprises with Estonian capital in Kazakhstan that are involved in export-import operations, furniture production, construction and architecture. In 2011, the sales turnover between the two countries made USD 63 million.
