N.Nazarbayev to pay official visits to Jordan, Italy and Vatican in November
Official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Yerzhan Ashikbayev has said it today at the briefing.
The official visit to Jordan will be held on November 3-4 on the invitation of King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein. The course of the agreements reached earlier, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation will be discussed at the meeting. Signing of a number of bilateral agreements is expected.
According to Y.Ashikbayev, the Head of the State will also take part in the opening ceremony of the Days of Kazakhstan in Jordan. Besides, within the framework of the visit the III session of the Kazakh-Jordanian Council will be held.
The Kazakh President's official visits to Italy and Vatican are planned to be on November 4-6.
There will be held negotiations with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi in Rome. "It is expected conclusion of bilateral intergovernmental and commercial agreements in different sectors of cooperation", Y.Ashikbayev said. According to him, the Kazakh-Italian business forum will be held on the threshold of the visit.
N. Nazarbayev is scheduled to have an audience with Pope Benedict XVI and a meeting with Cardinal Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone in Vatican.
