N. Nazarbayev expressed readiness to work further with D. Medvedev

MOSCOW. March 19. KAZINFORM Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev hailed the choice of the Russian people in the presidential elections held this March.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev told during the EurAsEC Interstate Council meeting in Moscow.

Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed gratitude to Russia for traditional hospitality. "We have met after the presidential elections in Russia. I would like to hail the choice the Russian people made," the Head of State said.

"We respect you. And we have already become friends," Nursultan Nazarbayev told addressing Dmitry Medvedev.  I respect you for your sincerity and firmness in upholding the interests of Russia and skills to find common in our discussions. We have launched the Customs Union and approached the establishment of the Single Economic Space and Single Eurasian Economic Union," Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

 "I wish you good health and success," the President said.
