N. Nazarbayev and Xi Jinping to have talks in Astana

ASTANA . KAZINFORM - The press service of the president of Kazakhstan announced about the upcoming talks with the participation of N. Nazarbayev.

It is planned that the Head of State will receive former head of the European Commission J. Barroso on May 5.

On May 6, a ceremony of presenting national awards and military promotions will take place.

A concert dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day will be held on May 6b as well.

A military parade will be held in Astana on May 7. The Head of State will also take part in the ceremony of opening of a monument to general I. Panfilov in Astana.

Besides, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to have talks with President of China Xi Jinping, who is coming to Kazakhstan within his official visit.

N. Nazarbayev will take part in the ceremony of laying flowers to the monument "Otan korgaushylar".

On the same day President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev is planned to fly to Moscow to participate in the informal meeting of the heads of the CIS member-states and in the sitting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

On May 9, President N. Nazarbayev will take part in the celebratory events dedicated to the Victory Day in Moscow.
