N. Nazarbayev and J. Rogge debated opportunity of holding 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. January 30. KAZINFORM. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge, the Presidential press service reports.

The parties touched upon the issues of bilateral cooperation, development of elite sport in Kazakhstan.

Jacques Rogge expressed gratitude for ensuring high-level Asian Games.

"I would like to note that Kazakhstan erected lots of new and unique sports facilities on the eve of the Asian Games. It proves the preparations for the Asian Games are on the highest level. During the meeting we debated an opportunity of holding the Olympic Games 2022 in Kazakhstan," J. Rogge told.
